my hair is pretty my straight with a few odd kinda waves at the front but it stays dead straight every where else which is really annoying and i want to make all my hair go wavy. is there some kind of product or shampoo that will make your hair go wavy or any other kind of tricks as im pretty desperate. i like mary-kates hair but i dont know if thats naturally wavy or what. i dont want to use hot curlers as it takes ages. and i want something that looks really natural. thanks.

something that will help if your hair is naturally wavy when it's wet it to get layers in your hair that'll help it be more wavy when it's dry.
and when you curl it it'll fall better.
i'd suggest getting a ceramic spiral curling iron., or a really skinny iron, when my hair was long i could curl my hair in about 20 minutes. it was really easy.
you can braid it at night time, like everyone else said.
i think the best way is to towel dry so it's not wet but damp. and then use a little mouse to give it hold. then braid.

ooh same here
layering your hair can make it wavyer
but i think the best way to get wavy hair
is to braid it
it ALWAYS helps me
but if your hair is REALLY REALLY layered
it wouldn't look as great
but try sleeping with your hair wet
braided
then next morning
DON'T COMB IT
just kinda mess it around
and comb it a LITTLE bit with your FINGERS
and only fingers
combing/brushing it will make it kinda frizzy

In the PM Braid it immedately after shampoo.
Wake the next morning. Unbraid, bend at the waist and spray a light hairspray near the roots at your neck.
Stand up and you have the look

First step, wash your hair. Then you can braid it up at night, and when you wake up in the morning, take the braids out, and your hair will be wavy.
