Going from super straight hair to wavy/curly?

I have a lot of hair..its really straight and soft...but i want to make it wavy or curly once in a while just to change it up a bit and ive tried everything...different types of gels and mouses..nothing works it still stays straight as can be...does anyone know anything i can use!!! No perms! I tried scrunching but it doesnt stay.

I want a product of some sort like a mouse...no curling irons i have way too much hair it would take me forever!

yea my hair is almost straight, and sometimes i want to curl it, and like you i have A LOT of hair, so i do this.

when my hair a little damp, i separate my hair into like 4 or 5 section.(separate into sections that are not too big but not too thin.)i twist each section into a bun and secure it with a rubberband. i sleep on it . (you can spray a little hairspray if you like) before i go out. i take it out, shake it a bit and it's nice and wavy.

there is no way to make your hair curly unless perms or tongs or plaits in your hair it wont go straight just for no reason or everyone would be doing it

well if you do chose to curl it, make sure you use hair spray, cause if your hair is really soft, it will be hard for the hair to hold its style...

u could try to braid ur hair overnight....that might works. but wen ur braid ur hair b4 u go to bed make sure that its wet.

I have straight hair too. After taking a shower(at night), while your hair is still damp, braid your hair ( size of braids depend on how curly you want it) and then sleep with it. In the morning, your hair should be ddry, and then undo the braids. your hair should be really curly!!!

first of all u need a goodstyle cut. only then, u can curl or make it wavy. while hair is still damp, fix curlers or clips %26amp;keep for an hour or fix it overnite coverin with a net over it. or u can part yur hair in sections%26amp;make thin braids in the nite. this is how it was done those days before curling products were not made.
