trust me I straightened my hair for two hours one time and in less than thirty minutes my hair was wavy again!!!

i used to have this problem and it was taking me around 2 hours everytime. Now i use more expensive ceramic straightners and a straightning cream first. i have also started using leave in conditioners and try to dry my hair as straight as i can first. my new straightners only take about 40 mins now

well at salons they permanently straighten hair for like 6 months and it works, but its up to u if u want to do that, other than that there are no cremes that will fix ur problem, maybe u should just accept the hair u have and try doing loose curls with ur hair they look nice with natural wavy hair

What kind of straightner do you use ? its probably just a poor quality one. get a CHI (theyre expensive though, anywhere from 120-170$ depending where you live) and it will take care of everything, BELIEVE ME

conditioner your hair a lot a lot alot , and get a leave in conditioner to put in at night and wash out in the morning, and it will stay straighter.

also put mousse in your hair and it will straighten better :] i use "pin straight" by herbal essences new collections

i have the same problem wait i do is buy straighting shampoos and conditioners or any kinda straightening hair products.then after using them straighten your hair and remember don't straighten when your hair is wet!

*~You could try a texturizer to make ti so it stays straighter for a longer period of time before reverting. Also putting the flat iron up to the highest temperature and slowly going dow the hair will help. You can also use shampoos specially made or when you want to style your hair straight. Pantene and almost any other line of shampoo has shampoo and conditioner formulated to help your hair stay straight. So after you shampoo and condition it when you flat iron your hair, it should remain straight. Good luck!~*

thats what I'm trying to tell my mates!! daa!! You have to go to the hair dresser..:( I tried special lotions, combed it sprayed it etc.. but after a while the stupid waves come out again from the front!! believe me it was not like this before I had my hair cut with layers and short.. hair dresser isnt a solution but its the best trust my advice:) Hope you get it straigtened.. oopss forgot it, they used to iron the hair lets say 20 years ago?? that may work, you gotta need someone to help you though?

i use a straightening gel from the brand "redken" . you put a bit into the palms of your hands %26amp; just run your fingers through your hair a couple of times after you have a shower. then just blowdry it with a comb %26amp; it should work! works for me! =)

First of all , an IONIC (ions) hair dryer is a must . I purchased one for about $50. Then try a hair smoothing gel, like Biolage. Use a round brush with the hair dryer, working on one section at a time.

Dont put too much product on your hair though. Try a small amount at first .

Use shine serums, also, make sure you go over each section of hair slowly. You can also try using hairspray...I use an aerosol can lightly (from about 16 inches away) and then straighten. Also, let it air dry before straightening and straighten in sections (clip up the higher parts and unclasp as the bottom gets straightened). I straighten my hair everyday (it is chemically straightened) and I use the dangerously straight shampoo by herbal essences, and it really makes the hair texture change. When I don't want my hair straight I can't use that shampoo. I hope this helps!

You're not using a good enough straightener but you have to plan ahead for straight hair.

well I used my professional Solia flat iron on her hair I was done straightening it in 45 minutes and it was just as straight and soft as my hair gets! My hair is a bit wavy if I let it air dry.

If your hair isn't straightening well enough- raise the temperature on your flat iron.

Try using a straightening shampoo, conditioner, and there are other products as well.

You probably arn't using a good enough flat iron or the proper products. I work for a distributer to salons and know alot about flat irons and products. Chi's are okay flat irons, but not the best. They are overpriced. The cheapest one will run you around $130. Your basically paying for the name when you buy one. There are better ones that are alot cheaper. The Chi only has ceramic coated plates. The coating can wear off and then its no longer healthy for your hair. There is a cheaper brand called Hot tools that has Tourmaline, Ceramic and Titanium that work together to combat frizz and boost your hair閳ユ獨 overall health. I have the same hair type and I use Paul Mitchells Super Skinny line. They have a Shampoo and Conditioner that will smooth your hair and reduce the curl. The Super Skinny Straight Works is a product that you put in your hair before you blow dry that will help reduce the curl as well. And the Super Skinny Serum is in my opinion the best product ever. It is also applied to wet hair before you blow dry and will help smooth and condition as well as protect your hair from the heat of your blow dryer and flat iron and will give your hair alot of shine. I also spray my hair with KMS Flat Out Anti-Humidity seal when I am finished styling so that it prevents my hair from getting curly again. I live in Missouri and we have alot of humidity. Even if you use a good heat protectant, its not good to flat iron your hair every day. Switch it up, go wavy every now and again to give your hair a break. When I wear my hair wavy I use Deva Curl Angell jel. It will condition and hold my curls so they don't poof out but it doesn't leave my hair crunchy or sticky at all.
