u can get it chemically straitened or you could just use a straitener (chi) is really good

what i do when i straighten my hair i have curly .. iwashhe it with conditoner to make it soft and then brush ur hair out in the morning and then straighten it

I have very thick, wavy hair. First, use a smoothing shampoo and conditioner - I like Matrix Sleek Looks smoothing system (orange bottles). Then gently dry hair. Then spray a smoothing iron spray to protect your hair (I also use Matrix Sleek Looks Step 3) on one section of hair at a time and straighten that section with a flat iron. I have Curlmaster Ceramics and really like it - it cost under $40 at a beauty supply store. If you have really thick hair, you may need to section it off with a clip and do small sections at a time. Finally spray lightly with a fine mist hairspray. This process will make your hair unbelievably straight and smooth, and it will usually stay even in high humidity.
