i have medium length curly thick hair and the iron works perfect on it. i makes it soooo straight. its so easy to use and it has the best results. i love it!

yeah i used my friends, but i didnt really like it because it thinned my hair out more than my normal straightener and there were lots of flyaways. but it did straighten it completely. Chi is supposed to be the best brand so maybe that was just my hair

I owned a Chi, it really wasn't as great as I thought it would be. I have really thick, long (midback), wavy hair. It took me about an hour to get my hair as straight as I wanted to.

I suggest buying a Sedu flat iron, or a Solia. I have them both, and they're so much better than the Chi. Also, the Chi doesn't last very long, you can expect about a year. I've had my Solia for 3 years, and it still works as good as the first day I got it.

i have reallly thick hair and it waves so much when it dries. I have 4 straighteners one of which is a Chi. I use so many because after 2 weeks of using one i switch to the other, which makes it work better n my hair. the chi ceramic is a very good straightener, it will make your hair perfectly straight but depending on how thick your hair is it might take a while
