What do I do with my with thick, stubborn, wavy hair?

I have the thickest, and most stubborn and wavy hair. What are some ENEXPENCIVE ways to make it look nice? I've tryed to get layers (wich didnt work) and when I straigten it it gets even poofier.

i have the same problem with my hair what i do is i get some mosse from bedhead, and then i spray it with this stuff from treseme after that i straighten it...it depends on what ur budget is but for me it wasn't that expensive.

Never go for short layers, if you have long hair you can go for long layers.

Use plenty of conditioner, use one in the shower as well as a leave in one, it will make your hair a little less poofy. If Im going to be straightening my hair I usually try to let it dry in a bun (so that I dont have to blow dry it). Once it is dry I use a professional flat iron, usually they get hotter than some of the regular store brand ones.

Normally I dont have the time to straighten my hair so I just use a lot of leave in conditioners and shine products and let my hair dry naturally.

your hairdresser can thin it out so its not as thick try curling it with mousee after u get out of the shower

try prodcuts from sebasatian ( i hope i spelled it right) it comes in a white bottle with black or grey writing, all of their products work great, my hair is wavy and i use it to straighten it when i use the cermanic iron to get the bone straight look try it they carry it at target and eckerds.
