I need to make my hair wavy!!!?

What products can i buy to make my hair wavy, like Miley Cyrus. I have kinda wavy/straight hair, but when apply some products to make it wavy, it just looks like i woke up, and walked out the door. please help. Thankkks :)

i have really straight hair, and i like it wavy too. what i do is this-

for a light wave: take a shower in the morning, lightly towel dry you hair and shake. add some gel, i use matrix curl life spray gel (plenty too, by the way) then braid your hair tightly into pigtails (you can also french braid it to get more waves near the top) then let dry, which for me, takes an hour or two. release out of the rubberbands, and shake!

for more defined waves: do the same as above, but at night, sleeping on it to give your hair more time to take that form.

use a product and blowdry with a diffuser scrunching the ends

or use some medium sized hot rollers for about 10mins and then style with a lil hairpray

You can't just apply products and it'll magically look like a celeb.'s hair. Drying it with a large round brush should give you nice curls, but depending on your hair length and type you may need to use a curling iron.

use rollers or a curling iron and there is some special shampoo from herbal essence that keeps it wavy.
