I am mixed,half puerto-rican and half black, My hair is wavy as well as frizzy. I can't wear it out because when it dries it turns into apuff and gets all tangled. I staighten it by blow-drying and using a hot comb but if its hot it gets frizzy again or by 3 days I have to do it again. This cycle causes breakage, thinning, and heat damage. Someone please help me!! Is a perm my answer?

Even if you perm it, you're still going to have to blow it straight when you wash it. The best thing you can do to keep your hair in good condition is take good care of your scalp. Keep it clean and grease your scalp lightly twice a week. I'd also deep condition your hair once a week if I were you. Try to avoid using a hot comb.
When you wash your hair, put in a leave-in conditioner, then blow your hair ALMOST dry (on low heat) and then comb or brush it out with a regular brush or comb, pulling it straight gently, as it finishes drying on its own. That way you don't damage it so much. Those are the things my sister does and her hair is beautiful.

theres alot of good products out, try some of those b4 u use any more chemicals on it, frizz ease is pretty good, but look in the blk hair supply section there might be a better one made more for ur hair type in there, if u do perm it have them give u a deep condition first. good luck
