Should I get layers in my wavy hair??

I have naturally wavy hair, about shoulder length.

My question is will layers look good on me?

It will reduce some of the bulk, but taking the weight off could leave it curlier. However, when you do get layers it is much easier to straighten with a flat iron as there is less hair to deal with and if you get the layers trimmed every month, you are removing the dead (from the iron) ends so you always have silky hair. I suggest longer layers, possibly getting it thinned with shears as well, or texturized and trimming 1/4 to 1/2 in. off a month. Having layers will make it easier to scrunch it wavier too.

layers on wavy hair will give you more volume.do you want more volume?

Well we really can't tell without a picture.

But ofcourse, I've seen tons of people with wavy hair who have layers and it looks GORGEOUS!

Layers tend to look good on any hair type, go for it.

I think it'll be a nice look, you may also want to try for side bangs.

Side bangs + layers + wavy hair= Very pretty hairstyle :)

I would say I have that. %26lt;3

like someone said...it will give you more volume..is that a good thing for you??

I have naturally wavy hair, and I always keep it layered. It helps boost the curl. It depends on your face shape, too. Mine is round, so, I opt for longer layers. Make sure you go to a good, pricey stylist, believe me it makes a big difference. They know how to cut your hair so it's lays right. Hope this helps
